CHARITIES WE’VE HELPED

DONATION AND GRANT APPLICATION

If you are interested in making an application for a CTCLF grant or donation we recommend that you contact info@ctclf.org to obtain the full CTCLF Donation and Grant Policy and ensure compliance with the document.

CTCLF awards donations and grants exclusively to Charities registered with the Charity Commissioners, Voluntary Sector organisations and Social Enterprises and Community Interest companies.

CTCLF awards grants to a maximum of £2,500 and donations to a maximum of £5,000 for Project Funding (capital and revenue funding for the support of day-to-day running of specific projects) and Project Development (additional funding to a project already receiving funding, to enable an increase in the service provided which is non-statutory).

GRANTS AND DONATIONS ARE AWARDED

  • To support research into the causes, symptoms, distribution, pathology and treatment of cancers in children and young people.

  • To promote and fund practical application of this research.

  • To advance the education of parents, carers and others in the causes, symptoms and treatment of cancers in children and young people.

  • To increase understanding, and better practice in how children and young people with cancer are best cared for.

  • To support other qualified organisations whose core activity is to assist children and teenagers suffering from cancer or leukaemia.

CTCLF DOES NOT ACCEPT APPLICATIONS from organisations outside the UK

Towards the provision of statutory services or for equipment which will become the property of a statutory body; from organisations with financial reserves exceeding half the annual running costs; for goods and services already ordered or purchased prior to a donation and/or grant having been approved; from individuals or organisations intending to pass monies directly to individuals; from organisations participating in party political demonstrations, or supporting a political party or issuing material which supports or opposes a particular political party or the government. Successful applications will be monitored and donations and grants may be recalled if not used within the time or purpose allowed.

APPLICATION

CTCLF Trustees meet during the last week of April, August and December to consider applications received by the beginning of those months. Submissions received after the deadline are automatically carried forward.
